Late Shift Warehouse Operative / FLT Operative
Location: Biggleswade, Bedfordshire
Salary: £27,000 rising to £29,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Friday: 1:00pm – 9:00pm
No weekends
The Role
We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative / FLT Operative to join a well-established engineering supply business in Biggleswade.
This is a permanent late-shift position, ideal for someone with previous warehouse, manufacturing or industrial experience. Forklift experience is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick and prepare customer orders
* Load and unload vehicles
* Move and store metal products safely
* Prepare materials for dispatch
* Operate forklifts where trained
* Carry out general stock and warehouse duties
* Maintain high Health & Safety and housekeeping standards
What We're Looking For
* Previous warehouse or industrial experience
* FLT / forklift experience advantageous
* Experience within metals, engineering or manufacturing desirable
* Reliable with a good work ethic
* Good attention to detail
* Comfortable working a permanent late shift
