Warehouse Operatives – Howden

Location: Howden, DN14 7SE
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Overtime: £15.89 per hour (x1.25) after 8 hours
Hours: Monday to Friday, usually 6am–2pm or 8am–4pm
Saturdays: Optional – paid at x1.5
Duration: Long-term ongoing – at least until January
Start: Immediate

M4 Specialist are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our client, a well-established Commercial Printing company based in Howden.

This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for regular, long-term work every week, with work confirmed until at least January and the potential to continue beyond this.

📦 The Role of a Warehouse Operative

Your duties will include:

* Loading and unloading goods

* Picking and packing printed products

* Moving and handling products and materials

* Preparing orders for dispatch

* General warehouse duties

* Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

* Working as part of a team to meet daily requirements

* Some manual handling will be involved

⏰ Working Hours & Pay for a Warehouse Operative

* Monday to Friday every week

* Usually 6am–2pm or 8am–4pm

* On occasions, shifts may run later, but no later than 6pm

* £12.71 per hour

* £15.89 per hour (x1.25) after 8 hours

* Optional Saturday shifts available – paid at x1.5

👷 What We're Looking for in a Warehouse Operative

We're looking for candidates who are:

✅ Reliable and punctual
✅ Hardworking and have a good attitude
✅ Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
✅ Able to work well as part of a team
✅ Flexible when required
✅ Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential for the right candidate

PPE: You must have your own hi-vis and safety shoes/boots.

🚗 Important: You must be able to reliably get to our client's depot in Howden, DN14 7SE, for the required start time. Please ensure you have suitable transport before applying.
