We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative / Multi-Trade Operative to join our team on an immediate-start basis.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with warehouse experience, a valid forklift licence and practical building/maintenance skills. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations as well as assisting with the construction and installation of E-House substations and general building projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Receiving, checking, storing and dispatching goods and materials
* Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift
* Maintaining accurate stock records
* Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient
* Supporting the build and installation of E-House substations
* Carrying out basic carpentry, decorating and general construction work
* Assisting with repairs, maintenance and installations
* Using hand and power tools safely
* Supporting general building and maintenance projects as required
* Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
* Following all company health and safety procedures
* Reporting any hazards, defects or issues promptly
Requirements
* Valid forklift licence
* Previous warehouse experience
* Practical experience in general building, construction or maintenance
* Multi-trade / hands-on skills
* Confident using hand and power tools
* Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Reliable, punctual and able to work to deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong commitment to health and safety
