Location: Frimley
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £15.01 per hour after 12 weeks
Shift: Early morning – approximately 02:00 AM start

Job Description

Best Time Ltd is recruiting reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy parcel distribution operation in Frimley.

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role involving parcel sorting, loading and unloading, scanning and preparing parcels for dispatch. Candidates must be comfortable with an early morning start and able to work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Sorting parcels according to destination and delivery route

*

Loading and unloading parcels from vehicles and trailers

*

Moving parcels around the warehouse and placing them in designated areas

*

Scanning parcels using handheld scanning equipment where required

*

Loading delivery vans and ensuring parcels are correctly positioned

*

Handling parcels safely in accordance with manual-handling procedures

*

Ensuring parcels are processed and ready for dispatch on time

*

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment

*

Reporting damaged parcels, incorrect labels and other issues to the supervisor

*

Following site health and safety procedures and instructions

Working Hours

*

Early morning start at approximately 02:00 AM

*

Finish times may vary depending on operational requirements

*

Shift duration may vary according to workload

Please ensure you can reliably travel to the site and arrive on time for the early start.

Candidate Requirements

Previous warehouse or parcel-handling experience is beneficial but not essential

*

Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

*

Reliable, punctual and hardworking

*

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good teamwork and communication skills

*

Commitment to health and safety procedures

*

Physically fit for a role involving regular lifting, carrying, bending and prolonged standing and walking

*

Comfortable handling parcels weighing up to approximately 25 kg
