Overview

Major Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Bedford for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced distribution environment offering stable hours, long-term security, and genuine progression opportunities.

We are particularly keen to speak with candidates who hold a valid FLT Counterbalance or Reach licence, although this is not essential for the right candidate.

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:30
Friday: 08:00 - 14:45

What's on Offer:

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
Receiving and checking incoming goods
Safe operation of FLT equipment (if licensed)
Stock control, rotation, and accurate location management
Loading and unloading vehicles
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
Working to daily targets while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Supporting general warehouse duties as required

Candidate Requirements:

Previous warehouse experience essential
FLT Counterbalance or Reach licence desirable
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
