Cool Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operator / Fork Lift Driver to join our clients expanding site based in the Newbridge area.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operator / Fork Lift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves various tasks related to materials handling, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Duties

Operate counter balance forklifts and other warehouse equipment for materials handling.
Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling and storage.
Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
Maintain accurate stock records
Conduct regular checks on stock levels and report discrepancies as necessary.
Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is essential.
Valid Counter Balance fork lift licence with experience.
Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for managing stock effectively.
A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within a fast-paced environment is required.
