Location: West Sussex
Salary: Approx. £26,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm (40 hours per week, with 30 minutes for lunch)
Transport: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential due to the rural location.

A well-established supplier of duty-free goods to diplomatic missions and global export locations is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team. This role reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and involves both local and occasional site-based work at a bonded facility in Tilbury, Essex.

Travel to Tilbury will be in a company vehicle.

• Picking and packing export orders with precision and care

• Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail to ensure error-free dispatch

• Assisting with warehouse operations and upholding health and safety standards

• Using basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel

• Supporting colleagues and maintaining team efficiency, particularly during busy periods

• Organised, tidy, and detail-oriented

• A strong team player who can also work independently

• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines

• Flexible with working hours and willing to support during staff absences

• Basic English proficiency is essential

• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of manual work

• Knowledge of wines and spirits is a bonus

• Preferably a non-smoker

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years

• Comfortable driving company vehicles as needed

• Willingness to travel to Tilbury as part of the role
