Warehouse Operative (Runner)

Location: Crawley
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 6:30am – 3:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse team based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking long-term employment, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

* Moving stock, products, and cages throughout the warehouse.

* Transferring products to designated workstations and tables for processing.

* Handling products in line with company procedures, including items weighing up to 30kg.

* Supporting the efficient movement of stock and materials between departments as a Runner.

* Assisting with picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as required.

* Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues.

* Preparing products for dispatch.

* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

* Following all health and safety policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

* Have previous warehouse, production, assembly, or picking and packing experience.

* Possess good attention to detail and accuracy.

* Be able to follow instructions and established processes.

* Have good communication skills and work effectively as part of a team.

* Be reliable and punctual.

Due to the nature of this position, applicants must:

* Be able to provide a full 5-year employment history with no unexplained gaps

* Be willing to undergo a Basic DBS check

* Successfully complete mandatory security training
