Warehouse Operatives

We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Stores Person to join our busy team in Crawley.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the stores operation. You will help ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately, while maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities
Receive, check and book in deliveries accurately.

Load and unload goods safely.

Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.

Issue parts, materials and equipment to internal teams.

Maintain accurate stock records and complete regular stock checks.

Investigate and report any stock discrepancies or damaged items.

Organise stock and ensure all items are correctly labelled and stored.

Monitor stock levels and notify the relevant person when replenishment is required.

Complete goods-in, goods-out and delivery paperwork.

Keep the warehouse and stores area clean, tidy and organised.

Follow all health and safety, manual-handling and company procedures.

Support the wider warehouse and logistics team when required.

About youThe successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or stock-control environment.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A reliable, positive and hardworking attitude.

Good communication skills.

The ability to carry out physical duties, including lifting and moving stock.

Basic computer skills for updating stock systems and completing records.

A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
