Job title \u2013 Warehouse Operator \n\nLocation \u2013 Thirsk, UK\n\nJob model \u2013On Site \n\nThe Warehouse Operator plays a key role in the efficient operation of warehouse activities including dispatch, receiving, and logistics. This position ensures the accurate movement of goods and timely delivery to customers, while maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and compliance.\n\nYour key responsibilities:\n\n * Coordinate the movement of goods within the warehouse to ensure timely delivery.\n * Accurately label and document all goods (raw materials, finished goods, staging area).\n * Handle materials including raw materials, oils, packaging, and finished goods.\n * Operate and maintain forklifts and other warehouse equipment.\n * Clean manual handling equipment weekly (forklifts, VNA trucks, order pickers, electric pallet trucks).\n * Complete in-process records and ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and GMP standards.\n * Reconcile material handling records and update SAP systems for tracking and reporting.\n * Safely load and unload trucks and manage materials.\n * Collect samples and assist in stock management.\n * Support logistics operations including packaging, storing, and transporting goods.\n * Perform cycle counts and update SAP systems accordingly.\n * Liaise with Planning and T\u0026D teams to ensure required stock movements are completed safely and efficiently.\n\n\n\nWe bring:\n\n * Opportunities for growth and advancement for those who embrace innovation and take initiative.\n * Opportunity to build a career, making a significant impact on billions of lives, with the freedom to shape your own path.\n * Responsibility and accountability in living company values and driving sustainable solutions.\n * Supportive environment where individuals are empowered to progress and contribute to meaningful change.\n * A dynamic work environment with many challenges that give you the possibility to work autonomously and with a team in finding the right solutions. You are giving the freedom to be creative and proactive.\n * A good Collective Labor Agreement and competitive salary.\n\n\n\nYou bring:\n\n * GCSEs or equivalent.\n * Valid UK forklift license and experience operating warehouse machinery.\n * Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and food safety standards.\n * Understanding of emergency procedures and risk assessments.\n * Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or automation industries.\n * Strong IT skills, including Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.\n * SAP experience preferred.
