Location: Basingstoke / Closest Home Office + Additional Site Travel across Midlands & Southern UK Salary: Up to £65,000 + £5,500 Car Allowance + Private Medical Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm Working Pattern: Hybrid – 1–2 days per week at your closest home office, with regular travel to operational sites across primarily the Midlands and Southern UK.
About The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Process & Compliance Manager to join a large-scale, multi-site logistics operation in a newly created position. This is a key role within the Solutions & Optimisation function, responsible for driving warehouse process standardisation, operational compliance and continuous improvement across a national network.
The successful candidate will take ownership of developing a consistent approach to warehouse operations, including the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures, compliance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting to the Head of Warehouse Design & Compliance, you will work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders across the network to identify opportunities for improvement, challenge existing ways of working and implement practical, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement and maintain warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the network.
* Own the SOP governance process, including version control, approvals, audits and document lifecycle management.
* Develop and implement centralised SOP and training record systems.
* Manage and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with relevant standards and business requirements.
* Develop processes and standards around MHE telematics across warehouse operations.
* Plan and support internal and external audits relating to SOPs, MHE and IMS.
* Lead continuous improvement workshops and root cause analysis with operational teams.
* Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and ways of working.
* Work with operational teams to implement standardised processes and ensure improvements are effectively embedded.
* Support wider warehouse design, optimisation and continuous improvement projects as required.
You'll need to be comfortable challenging existing processes and ways of working, while being able to translate improvement opportunities into practical, measurable and sustainable operational solutions.

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Process Manager, Operational Excellence Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager or Business Process Excellence professional looking to take ownership of process standardisation and operational improvement across a significant logistics network.
Rather than being focused on a single site, this role offers genuine scope to influence processes across multiple operations, working with operational teams and senior stakeholders to establish consistent standards and drive measurable improvements.
