Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Nights, 6pm–6am, Tuesday to Friday

The Role
A growing FMCG warehouse operation in Hinckley is looking for a Warehouse Section Leader to lead the night shift, working 6pm–6am, Tuesday to Friday. This is a fast-paced, high-growth site supporting a well-known snack food brand, running a static workload across days and nights with no quiet periods. You'll take full ownership of the shift: people, standards, and keeping things calm and under control if anything goes wrong.

What the role involves

* Full responsibility for the night shift warehouse operation, 6pm–6am

* Leading and coaching a team, with a Deputy Section Leader reporting to you

* Maintaining standards, productivity and stock accuracy

* Being the calm, decisive presence on site if something goes wrong — from equipment issues to emergencies

* Supporting a genuinely hands-on, invest-in-your-people leadership style, not a sink-or-swim culture

What's needed

* Proven experience as a Warehouse Section Leader, Shift Manager, or Team Leader within a fast-paced FMCG or food warehouse environment

* Confident, calm decision-maker under pressure

* Strong people leadership — coaching, not just supervising

* Comfortable working nights, 6pm–6am, Tuesday to Friday
