Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a fast growing retailer opening new stores across the UK. We are seeking a driven and passionate Warehouse Shift Manager to lead the team within the distribution centre.

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, be self-motivated and hands-on with previous exposure to working within a fast based distribution or warehouse environment.

Shift Pattern: 4 days on 2 days off. Rotating shift: 05:30am -15:00 & 14:00 - 23:30. This rotation has the benefit of working only 244 days per year (Traditional 5-day week is 260 days)

The role as Warehouse Shift Manager:

• Leadership and role modelling for First Line Managers
• Covering inbound receiving, stock put-away, picking and despatch.
• Drives process change and improvements whilst maintaining Health & Safety as a priority and developing standard operational process ensuring accuracy of stock is optimised.
• Achieve and exceed operational KPIs and work with other departments on any deviations and corrective action plans.
• Driving operational efficiency across multiple disciplines and time frames ensuring resources coordinated in line with changing demands and deadlines.
• Championing engagement initiatives with up to date KPI monitoring.
• Develop and drive process improvements within start up environments.

The candidate will have/be:

• Currently in a Warehouse Shift Manager role, ideally within general merchandise or related field
• Notable experience of managing in a warehouse environment
• Warehouse systems with Red Prairie or Blue Yonder knowledge an advantage
• Microsoft excel, word & PowerPoint as you will be refining procedures and policies and procedures
