Are you ready to take on a diverse role within a successful and expanding business? As Warehouse Stock Controller, you’ll be responsible for all incoming and outgoing stock including event equipment. Your role will include cycle-counting, audit reporting, space utilisation and location optimisation within the warehouse, working closely with warehouse management.

What You’ll Do:

As Warehouse Stock Controller, you'll be the linchpin of the company’s inventory accuracy and efficiency. You'll ensure 100% stock integrity by:

• Performing regular cycle counts and root cause analysis for any discrepancies. You'll not only identify issues but also propose solutions and communicate these to management.
• Conducting process audits to pinpoint potential inventory or quality issues, providing clear feedback and improvement suggestions.
• Strategically reviewing stock movements and optimising product placement based on sales patterns, creating efficient picking and storage layouts.
• Developing and executing stock consolidation plans to maximise available storage space.
• Creating and maintaining a robust replenishment plan aligned with sales demands, ensuring timely stock availability and reducing shortages.
• Monitoring incoming and outgoing goods, reserving or refusing items with perceived abnormalities and escalating issues to management.
• Mastering multiple WMS systems, using existing reports or creating bespoke ones to maintain precise stock integrity.
• Assisting with returned stock processing, analysing data to identify internal quality concerns.
• Collaborating with Finance and Client Support teams to effectively manage the removal of aged or expired stock.

What We’re Looking For:

Education

• Essential: Intellectually robust with at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
• Desirable: HND or a degree, ideally in Logistics, Business, STEM, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience & Knowledge

• Essential: Proven accurate data skills and strong PC literacy.
• Desirable: Experience with SAP, advanced WMS knowledge (super user level), or prior inventory/stock control experience. Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills (including Pivot Tables/SQL querying) are a plus.

Abilities & Skills

• Essential: A commitment to continuous improvement, the ability to embody company values, and professional, clear, and concise communication skills.
• Highly organised, accurate, and practical in problem-solving, with a hands-on approach, especially in a busy environment.
• Desirable: Previous leadership skills at a supervisory level.
• Project Management experience

• MHE (Material Handling Equipment) Trained, Fire Marshall, or First Aider certification.
