Warehouse Supervisor- PM shift

1pm - 10pm (40 hours)
£32-£33k per annum

Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to work for our local well established, nationwide client. You will have proven experience within a similar role and be competent in the use of Warehouse Management Systems. The role reports into the Warehouse Management team, supervises and oversees the entire operations.

The main responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor are:

• Supervising and assisting with picking, packing and dispatching orders ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Supervising, training, developing and motivating a team of approx 16 warehouse operatives.
• Ensuring the safe and effective use of warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet trucks.
• Provide reports and updates to  the Warehouse Manager on performance metrics, operational challenges and corrective actions.
• Lead the team through strong leadership, clear communication and emplyoyee engagement.
• Ensure all courier and third party shipments are processed accurately and within deadlines.
• Daily load sheets acheived and all orders accounted for.
• Ensure all vehicles are loaded within shift deadlines.

The key requirements of the Warehouse Supervisor include:

· A proven track record as a Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader is essential.
· Competent in the use of Warehouse Management Systems - experience of Sage 200 would be advantageous.
· High energy people person who can engage with the team, motivate, and inspire.
· Proactive self-starter who can work on their own initiative.
· An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop, maintain and exploit strong internal and excellent external relationships at all levels.
· IT literacy - Microsoft Office
· FLT an advantage.
