Warehouse Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor on a permanent basis for our client based in Feltham

4 on 4 off

6am - 6pm

£33k - £35k

Duties include:

• Manage the goods received and ensure correct area is used for breakdown
• Ensure all product has temperature taken on arrival
• Break down product and store at correct temperature
• Ensure pallets are labelled correctly
• Ensure photos are taken and sent to office team of any damaged product
• Ensure Warehouse is kept clean and tidy
• X-ray Screening:
• Ensure that freight shipments comply with all relevant import and export regulations, including customs and security requirements
• Verify that the cargo's documentation matches the visual inspection results and is in compliance with applicable laws
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines when handling potentially hazardous or sensitive materials
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authorities
• Ensure ALL doors are closed when not in operation as per security protocol
• Document and report any suspicious or non-compliant cargo to the Warehouse Director
• Maintain accurate records of all screened shipments, including X-ray images and inspection results
• Support the company’s food safety policy by observing good personal hygiene practice and reporting any illness to the Warehouse Director
• Communicate any security or compliance issues to supervisors or relevant authorities
• Stay current on advancements in X-ray screening technology and freight inspection methods

Ideal Candidate

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 year checkable history
• Previous experience operating X-ray screening equipment is preferred
• Forklift trained
• Knowledge of customs and security regulations related to freight and cargo
• Attention to detail and the ability to detect irregularities in X-ray images
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
