Warehouse Supervisor
Monday to Friday 2.00pm till 10pm
£29,000 Per Annum DOE
Based In Eye, Suffolk
Permanent

Hales are happy to be working with their client based in Eye, Suffolk to assist them in finding a new member for their team!! This company is a friendly feel environment and have recently expanded their warehouse due to demand and supply!!

You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of warehouse operations, goods in, raw materials, and finished goods dispatch within a manufacturing and fulfillment facility, whilst leading and motivating a small team.

Duties Include

Managing the computer system throughout the warehouse to ensure correct management of goods in and out
Managing inventory control and stock take to ensure maximum efficiency and keep products fully stocked
Ensuring health and safety compliance throughout and making sure the warehouse is up to date on its policies and procedures, along the managers
Driving the implementation of warehouse processes and procedures
Overseeing projects, installations and new builds
Managing a team of 6 fulfillment and dispatch
Have a hands-on approach and assisting throughout the department
Assisting with training of new staff where applicable
Overseeing operations throughout the warehouse
Working alongside other managers to set up computer systems

Candidate Attributes

Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques, warehouse operations, and best practices.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and their practical implementation in a warehouse setting.
Experience in process improvement, automation, or modernisation initiatives is highly desirable
Strong problem-solving skills, and a mechanical competence to operate machinery as required with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
