Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a high-calibre Warehouse Supervisor to join our premium logistics facility in Dartford. This secure warehouse handles high-value luxury goods. You will oversee daily floor operations, ensuring our team maintains the meticulous standards required for handling luxury stock and contribute to the smooth running of the pick and pack operation.

Key Responsibilities

Working alongside another Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations and a team of up to 12 operatives, this can increase during peak periods.

Maintain strict security protocols and inventory control for luxury items.

Monitor team performance, KPIs, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Coordinate the efficient loading, unloading, and distribution of high-value stock.

Manage staff absences and holidays to ensure sufficient manpower.

Liaise with other departments.

Update clients with daily pick and pack progress.

Report to General Manager and highlight any issues or concerns.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse supervisory role.

Background: Experience in high-value, secure, or luxury logistics is highly advantageous.

Security: Willingness to undergo a standard DBS check if DBS not held.

Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and a keen eye for detail.

Shift Pattern

A rotating Monday-to-Friday shift pattern applies. Paid 40 hours per week:

Week 1: 7:00 am–3:30 pm

Week 2: 10:00 am–6:30 pm

Benefits

Competitive hourly rate of £15.80, overtime rate £23.05 will apply if exceed 40 hours.
