Location: Blantyre
Salary: £35,000 per annum, with scope for an increase
Hours: 6-day working week, 10pm-7am

Are you an experienced Warehouse Team Leader with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach? We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy client, leading the nightshift operation.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for leading and supervising a team of 15 warehouse operatives, ensuring the daily picking operation runs smoothly, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, delegating and supervising a team of 15 warehouse operatives
Planning and overseeing the daily picking operation
Managing operations across ambient, chilled and freezer departments
Monitoring staff performance, productivity and accuracy
Taking responsibility for staff training, development and performance management
Taking a hands-on approach to daily warehouse management
Ensuring orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and health and safety
Supporting continuous improvement and ensuring the warehouse operates efficientlyWhat You'll Get

Previous leadership experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
Strong people management skills, with the ability to delegate and motivate a team
Experience planning and overseeing warehouse picking operations
A practical, hands-on approach to managing daily operations
