Warehouse Team Leader

My client are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of their warehouse busy warehouse. This role requires regular travel between the main office and the warehouse site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all items are packed appropriately, stored correctly, and handled in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm

This is a busy role and will require overtime paid at time and a half.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including the receipt, packing, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure all items are securely packed and stored according to company guidelines.
• Perform regular inspections to maintain accurate inventory and a clean warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with the Head of Logistics and Facilities to synchronise logistics, schedules, and inventory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage the transportation and logistics of goods between two sites.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in warehouse or logistics supervisory roles
• Strong organisational and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently between two sites.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and warehouse software.
• Forklift certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Additional Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence - to drive the company van
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Flexibility and readiness to travel as needed.
• Team player with the ability to assist other departments when necessary.
