Warehouse Team Leader

Warehouse Shift Leader - Southampton
Location: Southampton (Chilled Environment)
Salary: £25,701 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 out of 7 days)
Shifts: Rotating between 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm
Own transport required

We're hiring a Warehouse Shift Leader to join a growing supply chain operation based in Southampton. This is a hands-on leadership role, working within a chilled environment to ensure high levels of accuracy and team performance.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading a small warehouse team to meet daily KPIs

• Auditing outbound deliveries to ensure all stock matches the required paperwork

• Verifying incoming stock and highlighting any discrepancies

• Providing regular performance feedback through documented supervisions

• Monitoring error rates and maintaining accurate audit records

• Ensuring health and safety, compliance, and quality standards are upheld at all times

What we're looking for:

• Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience, ideally in a team leader or auditing role

• Confident with numbers - strong mental arithmetic is essential

• Comfortable working in a chilled environment and on your feet for long periods

• Ability to follow both verbal instructions and audible warning systems

• Good communication skills (written and verbal)

• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills

• Must be 18 or over

• Own transport is essential due to shift times and site location
