Salary: £37,000 per year
Shifts: 5 days out of 7 (included weekends)
Hours: 7/20 shift rota

The Opportunity

A leading global logistics and warehousing organisation is looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join its operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to play a key role in overseeing warehouse activities, driving performance, and ensuring exceptional service levels for customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives.

* Allocate workloads and monitor daily performance against operational targets.

* Oversee goods-in, goods-out, picking, packing, and stock control activities.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies.

* Deliver team briefings and provide ongoing coaching and training.

* Monitor productivity and quality standards, identifying opportunities for improvement.

* Assist with staffing levels, attendance management, and performance reviews.

* Investigate and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.

* Maintain accurate warehouse and inventory records.

* Support management in achieving service, cost, and efficiency objectives.

About You

* Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Warehouse Operative position.

* Strong leadership and people management skills.

* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

* Good understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and health & safety requirements.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate a team.
