Meridian Business Support is recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader on behalf of a leading ecommerce fulfilment operation in Rugby. This hands-on role will see you leading outbound warehouse activities, managing a team of around 10 colleagues, increasing to up to 20 during peak periods, while ensuring exceptional quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Manage, motivate and support a team of warehouse operatives
Ensure customer-specific packing guidelines and presentation standards are consistently achieved

Review and update SOPs, work instructions and training materials
Conduct quality audits and investigate packing errors, damages and customer complaints
Monitor key performance indicators including packing accuracy, returns and quality metrics
Drive continuous improvement across operational processes, quality standards and customer experience
We're looking for a hands-on leader with experience in warehouse, fulfilment, logistics or ecommerce operations. You may currently be working as a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor, Fulfilment Team Leader, Operations Team Leader, Quality Team Leader or QC Supervisor and be looking for a role with a stronger focus on quality, customer standards and continuous improvement.

You'll ideally have:

Experience leading teams within a warehouse, fulfilment or logistics environment
A background in quality control, quality assurance, operational standards or customer service
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
Experience carrying out audits, compliance checks or process improvements
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Training experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We're particularly interested in candidates who lead by example and are passionate about maintaining high standards.

Benefits Include:
Salary approx £32,000 per annum
23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Private medical insurance
Dental insurance
Company pension scheme
Life assurance
Critical illness cover
Bike to Work scheme
Childcare voucher scheme
Free onsite parking and EV charging
24-hour onsite canteen
Please note: Due to the location of the site and limited public transport links, your own transport is essential.

If you're a quality-focused leader who enjoys developing people, improving standards and delivering an excellent customer experience, we'd like to hear from you.
