Warehouse/Stock Controller

Location: Clevedon

The Role:

£26,000–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Monday–Thursday: 08:15–17:15; Friday: 08:30–13:00
38.5 Hours per week
Permanent role
Free on-site parking

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with unloading deliveries and moving goods to designated locations
Support the maintenance of the computerised stock control system, recording all movements into and out of stores and production
Kit and issue stock to production against specific works orders
Print documents including manuals and electrical drawings relevant to sales orders
Take photos of finished goods and transfer them to the relevant sales order folder on the computer
Pack finished goods and prepare them for dispatch as per quality standards
Store and maintain all stock in an organised, safe, and tidy manner (5S), including enclosures and batteries which are to be clearly marked with job numbers
Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment in the QA/Despatch and external areas (including waste battery compound, refuse, and car park)
Adhere to quality standards at all times
Undertake other reasonable tasks as requested

The Right Candidate:

Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or supply chain environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and methodically
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
