Permanent opportunity - day shift, Thu to Mon or Fri to Tue pattern

Acorn by Synergie is working with a distribution organisation in the CF3 area on an exciting opportunity for a shift manager. The role has arisen due to a strong, expanding customer base, with demand requiring further managers to support smooth operations.

The successful candidate will be working 5 shifts a week which will include every weekend (shift pattern will be Fri to Tue, or Thu to Mon), with weekday operational hours being 9am to 5.30pm, weekends being 8am to 3.30pm.

Job Duties:

* Lead, motivate, and manage the team to ensure peak efficiency and precision in all tasks.

* Strategically assign responsibilities to leverage team strengths and address daily priorities.

* Spot and cultivate talent within the team, preparing them for future growth.

* Serve as the crucial liaison between the team and senior management, offering updates, raising concerns, and proposing enhancements.

* Regularly evaluate team and individual performance utilising key metrics.

* Conduct check-ins to discuss progress, give feedback, and identify training requirements.

* Utilise data to celebrate accomplishments and pinpoint areas for enhancement

* Oversee the timely and precise dispensing of medication.

* Coordinate with the Stock Controller regarding replenishment's, stock counts, and resolving discrepancies.

Key Requirements:

* Previous shift manager, supervisor or operations management experience within a warehousing / dispensary team

* Comfortable with working every weekend.

* Strong ability to maintain personable and professional communication with staff from operators to senior management levels.

* Knowledge of inventory management systems and operational workflows.
