Due to continued business expansion, the company is now seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and VAG-Accredited Warranty Administrator to join their Croydon-based team. POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Warranty Administrator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all warranty claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer standards. You will liaise closely with the service, parts, and technical departments to manage the end-to-end warranty process — supporting operational efficiency and cash flow integrity.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:
Prepare and submit warranty claims to relevant manufacturers and third-party warranty providers, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Work in accordance with VAG warranty procedures and standards, maintaining full compliance with guidelines and audit requirements.
Review and reconcile weekly manufacturer statements, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and chase any outstanding payments or unpaid claims.
Maintain accurate records of all warranty documentation and ensure documentation is stored securely for auditing and compliance purposes.
Support aftersales and service departments in identifying and logging warranty-related issues.
Respond to internal and external warranty-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer bulletins, recalls, policy changes, and procedures.
Assist with internal warranty audits and manufacturer-led inspections.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
VAG Accreditation – Essential.
Previous experience in warranty administration or service administration role within a franchised automotive dealership.
Strong working knowledge of manufacturer warranty policies and claims systems (e.g. DMS, VHC, Kerridge/CDK, Autoline).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or missing information.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Good numeracy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
