Warranty Engineer

What You Will Do:

- Conduct testing and reporting on rotating electrics, including starter motors and alternators, to identify and resolve issues.

- Accept or reject warranty claims in line with current service offers, ensuring a 48-hour turnaround for claims processing.

- Collaborate with the Quality team using a problem-solving mindset to drive continuous improvement.

- Liaise directly with customers to provide detailed explanations for accepted or rejected returns and promote best practices to reduce warranty costs.

- Manage inventory control of warranty units and process stock movements using SAP business management software.

- Provide analysis on returns by product, supplier, and customer to support the reduction of warranty returns and promote quality improvement initiatives.

What You Will Bring:

- Hands-on experience or understanding of the automotive aftermarket sector, with training provided if needed.

- Logical thinking skills for fault finding, with a background in vehicle maintenance, repair, or auto electrics being desirable.

- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with business management systems like SAP.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers.
