Waste Operative

Waste Collection & Cleaning Operative - Manchester Airport

We're looking for reliable operatives to support waste collection and cleaning across Manchester Airport.

Key duties:

Emptying and cleaning all airport bins (terminals, washrooms, car parks, airside, FOD, oil cans, viewing park, check‑in).

Replacing bin bags and keeping bins clean and presentable.

Cleaning and reporting damaged or missing signage.

Reporting waste‑segregation issues to support sustainability.

Keeping service yards tidy and hazard‑free.

What you'll need:

Strong communication and a customer‑friendly approach.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Basic understanding of waste segregation and H&S.

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather.

Valid driving licence required for Front of House operatives.
