Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £36k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a respected name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, who have a busy presence around the South East of England. Due to recently winning new business, they are seeking a professional and driven Water Hygiene Engineer to work across a variety of client sites, including: commercial, public sector and local authority. Applicants must have strong technical experience and knowledge, and will be expected to integrate well into their established team. Salaries on offer are competitive and comes alongside usual benefits.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

* Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines

* Will have worked across a range of client sites

* Hardworking attitude

* It would be advantageous to have experience working on process systems (i.e. Cooling Towers and Closed Systems)

* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

* TMV servicing

* Showerhead disinfections

* Flushing on little used outlets

* Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks

* Mains injections

* Water sampling

* Temperature monitoring

* Keeping accurate records of works completed

* Reporting any non-conformities

* Representing the company in a professional manner
