Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £36k + Training & Benefits

Due to recent company expansion, our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a diverse portfolio of new client sites. You will be travelling across the South East of England, ensuring to provide a high level of service, in line with the company’s strong reputation. It would be advantageous to be based close to major routes (M25 and / or M1) for easier travel. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation of industry experience and will be able to adapt to changing client requirements. Salaries are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle, fuel card and overtime.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Strong track record working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

* Good knowledge of industry guidelines (including ACOP L8 and HSG 274)

* It would be advantageous to hold industry-related qualifications (i.e. Cleans and Disinfections or TMV servicing)

* Able to work to agreed deadlines

* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

* Hardworking attitude

The Role:

* Attending a diverse range of commercial, local authority and public sector sites

* Showerhead and outlet descales

* Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks

* Calorifier inspections

* Performing flushing on little used outlets

* Water sampling

* Temperature monitoring

* Highlighting any non-conformities

* Keeping accurate records of works undertaken

* Representing the company in a professional manner
