Water Hygiene Engineer – Bristol area

£30000-£35000 + Van + Benefits (overtime available)

Large Water Compliance Consultancy is actively looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team and cover contracts in the Bristol area and around the South-West. The Water Hygiene Engineer will cover a range of duties including Sampling, Monitoring, Descales, Tank Inspections and Cleans.

Key duties for the Water Hygiene Engineer role will include

* Water sampling in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines

* Routine temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems.

* Shower, tap and hose descales

* Water storage tank inspections, cleans and disinfections.

* Maintaining site logbooks

Experience required for the Water Hygiene Engineer

* 2+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Hygiene Technician as a minimum

* Knowledge carrying out sampling, temperature monitoring, descaling, and tank cleans

* TMV servicing experience beneficial

* Strong communication and report-writing skills.

* Full UK Driving Licence

* DBS checked

The Water Hygiene Engineer role will come with full training where required and a benefits package including van, mobile, overtime and iPad. You will cover a range of sites including health care, education, retail and offices and will part of a larger team.
