Water Hygiene Engineer – Midlands Team

£30,000-£34.000 + Benefits + Van (private use)

Environmental Consultancy who specialises in the Health and Safety sector are actively looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their Midlands team covering a range of legionella compliance duties for commercial clients including Offices, Retail, Education and Healthcare within a 90-minute radius.

Typical work for the Water Hygiene Engineer will include

* Temperature monitoring/testing of tap outlets and tanks

* Cleaning, Descaling and disinfection of shower heads and hoses

* Inspecting/Cleaning of water tanks

* TMV Servicing

* Water Sampling

* Basic remedial works

* Maintaining site logbooks

The Water Hygiene Engineer will receive external industry training recognised by the LCA (Legionella Control Association). Courses can include

* Legionella Control of Hot and Cold-Water Systems

* TMV Training

* Water Regs

* Risk Assessments for Legionella Control

To apply for the Water Hygiene Engineer role the following experience is required

* 3+ years work as a Water Hygiene Engineer

* Full driving license

* DBS cleared

* Experience in Sampling, Monitoring, Descales, Tank Cleans and TMV Servicing

The Water Hygiene Engineer will receive a full benefits package, opportunities to cross train into other sectors including plumbing, risk assessing (fire & legionella) and asbestos and clear paths to progress within the team developing their technical understanding and taking on more responsibility.
