THE OPPORTUNITY

We are expanding our Water team and are hiring a permanent Consultant or Senior Consultant. The level of the role is matched to your experience and billing track record.

You will run an established perm desk across the UK water sector, a market backed by record AMP8 investment. You will have a strong existing client base to work from and full freedom to develop new accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Run a full 360 perm desk across water utility companies, Tier 1 contractors and engineering consultancies
Recruit civil engineers, project managers, design engineers, MEICA specialists and site leadership
Build and grow key accounts, winning new clients and increasing share with existing ones
Take detailed briefs and advise clients on salaries, market conditions and hiring strategy
Headhunt and represent high-calibre candidates, managing them through to offer and start
Negotiate offers that work for both client and candidate
Keep the CRM accurate and compliant, and deliver against revenue and activity targetsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Proven perm recruitment experience, ideally in water, civil engineering or wider infrastructure
A consistent billing track record (Senior level: established accounts and strong annual billings)
Confident building long-term relationships with hiring managers and candidates
Persuasive, persistent and resilient under pressure
Well organised and commercially minded
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeABOUT ADVANCE TRS
