Water Technician Level 3

The successful candidate will be ideally based in the London area and will cover sites in the London and South East regions.

Package

•           Salary up to £38,000 (depending on experience), In addition to your basic salary there are significant opportunities to earn bonuses and overtime is readily available

•           40 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

•           23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. After 2 complete years’ continuous service with the Company you will be entitled to one extra day of holiday for every complete year of service thereafter, to a maximum of 25 days.

•           10 extra paid days leave for Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers to attend their annual training.

Main Duties

•           Water Sampling

•           Temperature monitoring

•           Descaling of shower head and hoses.

•           TMV Servicing

•           Tank Cleans and inspections

•           Cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of the cooling towers

•           Endoscopic inspection of calorifiers

•           Mains injection pipework chlorination works

·        Technical service (closed heating and chilled system testing, cooling tower weekly/monthly checks and water treatment of boilers)

·        Plumbing & water treatment remedial skills

·        Acid descaling of boilers, towers and condensers.

·        To train less experienced technicians/engineers.

 Requirements

•           Confined space trained (advantageous)

•           Hold a full driving licence

•           Previous experience required
