Waterjet CNC Operator

We are looking to recruit a CNC Waterjet Operator for our manufacturing client based in Barnsley (S72).

In this role, you will be trained to set up and operate Waterjet cutting equipment & cut brick slips into arch set outs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop specialised skills and grow within a dynamic production environment.

Pay Rate:
Starting at £12.71 & rising to £15 per hour after 12 weeks probationary period.

Main duties

* Operate the waterjet machine

* Cut brick slips into arch set outs

* Report any maintenance issues and record all required information correctly in the computer system.

* Handle all materials carefully to prevent damage or safety risks, following Health & Safety rules and company handling procedures.

* Follow all Health & Safety regulations at all times to ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues, and visitors.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

* Experience using waterjet or laser machines

* Good understanding of how to handle materials safely and follow Health & Safety rules.

* Self-motivated, reliable, and hardworking
