Are you an experienced Website Manager looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting for a well-established educational organisation.
In this role working closely with a range of internal stakeholders, you'll oversee the day-to-day management and ongoing development of the website, using data and insight to optimise performance, improve user journeys and ensure content remains accessible, engaging and up to date.
In the Website Manager role, you will be responsible for:
Managing and developing the organisation's website, ensuring it remains user-friendly, accessible and aligned with best practice. Overseeing website content, reviewing updates and supporting colleagues with the Content Management System (CMS). Improving digital journeys and landing pages to increase engagement and conversion through data-led decision making. Monitoring website performance using analytics tools and providing recommendations for ongoing improvements. Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, Welsh Language requirements and SEO best practices. Creating guidance, documentation and delivering training to support colleagues using the website. To be successful in the Website Manager role, you will need:
Previous experience managing and developing large, complex websites using a Content Management System. Strong knowledge of SEO, web accessibility (WCAG), Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and digital analytics tools such as GA4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality web content and documentation. Good organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. A basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with experience supporting website improvements. Welsh language skills and experience using TerminalFour CMS would be advantageous but are not essential. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation on a temporary basis until December 2026, where you'll play a key role in shaping its digital presence and enhancing the online experience for a wide range of users. The role is offering a payrate of £26.50 per hour holiday pay and is working full time Monday – Friday.
