Weekend Caregiver

This role offers the perfect opportunity to provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
• Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Accompany clients to appointments or on outings when required
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care coordinator
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
• Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Respond promptly and professionally to clients' needs and emergencies
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

• Genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact on their lives
• Availability to work alternative weekends, with flexibility for occasional additional shifts
• Valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Friendly, patient, and empathetic demeanour
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic understanding of elderly care and common age-related conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Reliability and punctuality in attending scheduled shifts
• Willingness to learn and adapt to clients' individual needs and preferences
• Residence within or commutable distance to BA1 and BA2 areas of Bath
