Weekend Transport Supervisor

Transport Supervisor required to work weekends. Working 35 hours a week, Friday 12:00pm - 6:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 7:00am - 7:00pm, Monday 7:00am - 12.00pm. Salary is £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.

Duties:

• Ensuring full support for drivers, confirming and monitoring movements
• Responsible for escalations and emergencies during shift
• Liaise with customer regarding updates and changes
• Calculate and log company vehicle mileage
• Assist drivers with any logistical issues
• Raise subcontractor requests for breakdowns
• Potential for some light planning duties for drivers

Experience:

• Transport, logistics experience
• Supervisory experience is beneficial
• CPC qualification is desirable
• Experience dealing with vehicle breakdowns is advantageous
• Good computer skills
