What You Will Do

• Ensure welds are performed to drawing and weld procedures

• Perform pre-weld visual fit up and welding equipment verification

• Perform post-weld visual inspection to ensure Quality requirements are achieved

• Define re-work and repair schemes and document accordingly

• Mentor and provide constructive feedback to Fitting and Welding Operators

• Undertake department spot checks to ensure TPM and continued NADCAP compliance

• Participate in RRCA investigations and support implementing robust corrective actions

• Support improvement activities to remove waste and improve efficiency

Qualifications We Prefer

• TIG Welding experience in Aluminum and Stainless / Nickel Alloys  (essential)

• CSWIP Level 3.0 qualified (essential)

• Minimum City & Guilds Fabrication and Welding qualified or equivalent

• Knowledge of weld measurement techniques and equipment
