Welder

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing environment on a temporary basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for MIG welding and fabricating metal components, working from technical drawings and specifications to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

* MIG welding using power and hand tools.

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

* Fabricating and welding metal components to required standards.

* Completing production and quality records.

* Carrying out product testing and quality checks.

* Reporting faulty equipment, maintenance requirements or repairs to the supervisor.

* Safely moving products using cranes and other workshop equipment.

* Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience in MIG welding and fabrication.

* The ability to read and work from technical drawings.

* Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

* A reliable and practical approach to work.

* Good awareness of workshop health and safety.

* Experience using workshop tools and equipment.

* Crane or lifting equipment experience would be advantageous.
