About Us:

Spurr Fabrications Ltd is an established Steel Fabrication Company based in Ossett, West Yorkshire. We specialise in fabrication , laser cutting , punching and Pressing.

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team on a permanent basis.

The Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fabricator Welder who is capable of working to a high standard both individually and as a team member.

You will be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of steel components and assemblies, working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

The role will include:

* MIG Welding mild steel.

* Fabricating components and assemblies from engineering drawings.

* Checking your own work to ensure it meets drawing and quality requirements

* Using a wide range of workshop fabrication equipment and machinery.

* Working alongside our CNC laser cutting , punching and press brake operations.

* maintaining a clean , safe and organised working area.

The Person:

We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

You should be able to :

* Read and understand engineering / fabrication drawings

* Accurately measure and fabricate Components

* MIG weld mild steel to a good standard

* Take a job from drawing through to completion with minimal supervision.

* Organise and prioritise your own workload.

* Identify and resolve straightforward fabrication issues yourself.

* Produce consistently good quality work.

* Work efficiently without compromising quality or safety.

Working hours & Holidays:

* 4 day working week.

* Mon-Thu : 06:00am - 16:30pm.

* Two 30 minute breaks - One paid and one unpaid.

* 200 hours annual holiday entitlement plus statutory holidays.
