Welder / Fabricator - Sheet Metal

Welder / Fabricator required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of bespoke machinery based in the Basingstoke, Hampshire area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator with experience with TIG welding on stainless steel sheet material.

• Carrying out TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel sheet materials between 1 - 3mm.
• Working in line with production schedules and deadlines
• Setting up and operating fabrication equipment
• Implementing continuous improvements within the manufacturing department
• Reading, creating and interpreting welding drawings
• Maintaining the factory and onsite equipment
• Complying with the health and safety policies

• Previous experience with TIG & MIG welding on stainless steel sheet materials
• Based in a commutable distance of Basingstoke, Hampshire
• High attention to detail
• Experience with fabrication machinery such as press brakes, plasma cutters and rollers
• Ability to read engineering drawings

• Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
• Working hours: 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday. Friday 08:00 - 15:00. 37.5 hour working week.
• 30 days holiday, including bank holidays. Increasing with tenure.
