Welder - Flux Core & TIG Root

TIG & Flux Core Welders Required

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders with experience in TIG root, Flux Core, and MIG welding to secure short-term contract work on a high-profile engineering project.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Carrying out TIG root welding on 32-inch pipework Carbon
Completing Flux Core and MIG welding operations on pipe sections
Operating manipulator welding equipment where required
Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and welding procedures
Ensuring all work meets project quality and specification requirements
Maintaining safe working practices and high housekeeping standards
Working effectively as part of a busy production team
Inspection & Quality Requirements

All welds will be subject to:

Visual Weld Inspection
Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI)

What We're Looking For
Proven experience in large-diameter pipe welding and fabrication
Strong TIG root welding capability
Experience with Flux Core and MIG welding processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld procedures
High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Experience working to inspection and testing requirements
Self-motivated with a strong focus on health, safety, and quality
