Description
Welder/Fabricator
We currently have a vacancy for a Welder/Fabricator to join our busy Springburn Depot.
Shift Options 45 Hour Week
Monday to Thursday  07:00am to 19:00pm (2 weeks)
Wednesday to Saturday 07:00am to 19:00pm (2 weeks)
Average Salary = £45,000 per annum + Overtime
The Welder/Fabricator Role
·Body Repairs & Fabrication
·Strip/fit & Prepping
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Experience working with Aluminium
·Duties to include the use of hand tools, pistol drills, riveters, MIG welders, and Oxy - Acetylene torches.
Requirements
The core skills and qualifications required for a Welder/Fabricator are:
* Skilled in MiG welding
* The ability to do prep work and any strip / fitting will be favourable
* Experience working on Commercial Vehicles / Trailers would be a distinct advantage for this role
* Experience Oxy Acetylene Welding
* Working with mild steel / stainless may be required
