Salary:                 £17.62 per hour

Hours:                 Monday- Thursday 08:00- 16:30, Fridays 08:00- 14:00

Contract:            Permanent

Our client a highly experienced manufacturing and installation company are recruiting for a time-served fully skilled Welder/Fabricator to joint their expanding team.

As a Welder/Fabricator your duties will be: -

Welding aluminium, copper, and steel in process TIG and MIG.

Pass coded weld tests in all positions up to 6G.

Fabricate and weld assemblies, to a high-quality standard in accordance with engineering technical drawings.

Follow instruction from supervision.

Assist other skilled tradesman with aspects of the works.

Maintain upkeep of work area, workshop, and general housekeeping.

The use of hand tools, such as hand drills, grinders, and power tools.

Carry out general maintenance across the site.

Make themselves aware of health and safety risks involved.

Follow site rules and procedures.

Following best practice guidelines and ensuring other adhere to them.

Report to supervisor for workload, issues, and any risk events.

Completing and assisting with paperwork, risk assessments.

The successful Welder/Fabricator will have the following skills: - 

Must have full UK driving licence.

Basic English and Maths qualifications (min. GCSE level 4 / grade C).

Time served, fully skilled welder/fabricator.

Able to read and work direct from engineering drawings.

5 years of welding and fabrication experience.
