Welding Fabricator (MIG Preferred)

Location: Eastleigh
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate: £13.85/ph
Hours of work: 37.5hrs/week (6:00am-2:00pm)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welding Fabricator to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding and general fabrication, with the ability to read and work from technical drawings and blueprints

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel and other metals as required
• Fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Operate hand tools, grinders, and fabrication machinery
• Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator, preferably MIG
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
