We’re seeking fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary schools in Carmarthen and Llanelli.

✨ Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers to support student learning and development. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils access the curriculum, provide tailored support, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

🧑‍🏫 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Helping pupils stay engaged and focused during lessons
• Promoting a safe, welcoming, and respectful learning space
• Monitoring and supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
• Upholding safeguarding standards and contributing to pupil safety

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Fluency in Welsh - essential for working in Welsh-medium schools
• A caring and patient approach to supporting young learners
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with pupils and staff
• Experience in education or working with children
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for us to process one)
• Right to work and reside in the UK
