TeacherActive is currently recruiting Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistants to work in schools across the Ceredigion area. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated, enthusiastic, and adaptable individuals looking for flexible work within Welsh-medium education.

The Role

Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities
Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage pupil engagement
Adapt confidently to different school settings and classroom environments

Requirements

✅ Fluent Welsh speaker
✅ Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred)
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
✅ Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
✅ Passion for supporting children's learning and development
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
