Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic appliances including white goods, refrigeration units, and cooking products.
• Provide high-quality customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their appliance issues and repair processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of appliances to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer feedback in compliance with company procedures.
• Stay current with the latest product information, repair techniques, and industry trends to enhance service quality.
• Collaborate with team members and provide support during peak service periods to ensure timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised workspace.

• Proven experience as a white goods or domestic appliance engineer in a similar environment.
• Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications, such as City & Guilds or NVQ.
• Strong knowledge of domestic appliances, their components, and common faults.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet service deadlines.
• Full UK driving license to travel to various customer locations.
