Will Writer

We’re working with a fast-growing mortgage brokerage based in Essex, with a strong existing client base and around 60 new mortgage applications per month. To support thier growth, they’re bringing will writing and estate planning in-house — in turn they are looking for an experienced Will Writer to lead the charge.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a new arm of the business. You’ll be the in-house expert, shaping the service from the ground up with full backing from the Directors, who are open to your guidance and ideas.

Role Responsibilities:

• Drafting wills and advising clients on estate planning matters
• Managing the end-to-end client journey, from enquiry to completion
• Developing internal processes and compliance frameworks
• Working closely with the Directors to shape and grow the service
• Providing training and support to team members as needed
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant legal and regulatory standards

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in will writing and estate planning
• Strong communication and client-handling skills
• Confidence to take the lead and shape your own department
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
